So glad a I pulled the trigger on getting a Motion Boom Plus. It definitely has great sound for the money. I wasn't convinced a speaker at this price point would compare to the offerings from UE and JBL but here we are. I wasn't a fan of the out of the box EQ presets but if you use the same settings as Alan Ross Reviews on YouTube you definitely get an amazing sound experience. It's a solid unit, not sure it would take the same beating you could dish out to a more expensive UE Boom but feels pretty good all the same. Completely water and dust proof is an added bonus. I've been using it for around the last few months and it's really hard to find any negatives except it takes a lot of bench space but I knew this when I purchased. Another thing of note is that as the speakers fire directly in front position is key for a great listen. Battery life is amazing. So far I've used it inside, outside in the garden and taken camping. It's been been a powerhouse in each setting. I can't recommend this speaker enough but don't take the word of some random guy named Mark on the internet. Pick one up for yourself!
